About the role

  • This role is responsible for maintaining an effective property management system that supports operational execution while ensuring compliance with applicable federal regulations and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain compliance of the company's Property Control System in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and applicable government property regulations.
  • Manage lifecycle tracking of government and customer-owned property from acquisition through disposition.
  • Maintain property records, documentation, and reporting requirements to support audits, reviews, and contract compliance.
  • Support contractor self-assessments and government reviews of property management systems.
  • Develop and improve property administration procedures, policies, and internal controls.
  • Support internal and external audits related to government property compliance.
  • Mach Energetics is seeking a Property Specialist to support the administration, control, and compliance of government and customer-owned property across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and government property administration requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Assist with office operations, administrative coordination, and related operational support activities as required.

Nice to have

  • NPMA Certification (Must be able to obtain within 6 months of start date).
  • Experience supporting government property management systems or regulated compliance environments.
  • Experience supporting audits, inventory reconciliation, or compliance reviews.
  • Familiarity with contractor self-assessments and government property audits.
  • Experience working within defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracting environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all levels of an organization
  • Self-starter capable of operating in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
