About the role
- The Quality Control Technician conducts daily inspections to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.
- They possess the authority to enforce corrective actions for any deficiencies in work, equipment, or materials.
- Their duties encompass maintaining quality assurance protocols, conducting material testing, and analyzing test results.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting the work in progress to assure compliance with the quality control plan and quality criteria as specified in the Contract Documents.
- Maintaining quality control document files.
- Inspect all delivered materials to document there are no defects in workmanship, they have the proper identification, are not damaged and delivery is complete.
- Visual inspection will also include the correct quantity, completeness evidence of compliance with approvals, and proper documentation in accordance with manufacturer's requirements and the contract documents.
- Review and maintain any manufacturer material certifications.
Requirements
- Knowledge of mathematics - arithmetic, geometry, calculus, and statistics and their relevant applications.
Nice to have
- The following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Company will provide additional training, as necessary.
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training
- 8-Hour OSHA Refresher.
- Competent Person Safety Training.
- 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training.
- EM 385-1-1 Training
