  • As an Environmental Engineer, you will provide direction, and training to provide a safe and healthful workplace for the PPG associates.
  • You will ensure compliance with applicable environmental, safety, and health laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Clean Water Act (CWA) National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) water permits (Industrial and Stormwater).
  • Develop leading indicators that improve sustainability metrics (energy, water, waste) and spill incidents.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience with CAA, CWA, and EPCRA permits and reporting.
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • To perform this job, you must be able to perform each essential job responsibility satisfactorily.
  • Must have a broad understanding of environmental, health and safety rules and regulations.
