About the role
- The microelectronics technician is responsible for integrating, testing, and troubleshooting microelectronics that are used inside the infrared camera systems.
- They will also be responsible for maintaining and operating the test equipment used inside of a clean room space and cryogenic operations.
- We are seeking a Wire Bonding Technician to join our team, focusing on the packaging and assembly of custom infrared image sensors.
Responsibilities
- The hardware team is responsible for the development and production support of hardware used in infrared imaging products.
- In this role, you will collaborate with engineers in a clean room environment to handle and test silicon wafers, wire bond image sensors into ceramic packages, and perform visual and electrical inspections of sensor chip assemblies.

Requirements
- 5+ years experience working with precision test and measurement equipment for development or production hardware
- Experience collecting data from devices under test (DUTs) using test and inspection equipment
- Experience working with delicate hardware such as microelectronics assemblies and performing ultra fine motor skill tasks
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
- Your expertise will be essential in operating custom test equipment to collect image data.

Nice to have
- Prior experience working within a clean room environment
- Experience with microelectronics packaging such as wirebonders and custom imprints
- Experience with electrical cabling assemblies, soldering, crimping and debug
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and scripting/automation languages (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW)
Compensation
- $41.35 - $54.81 USD
