Responsibilities
- Lead an Agile software development team (approximately 5-7 people)
- Lead daily ceremonies
- Drive continuous improvement by focusing on engineering excellence.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to identify opportunities for intelligent processes that reduce manual effort, accelerate research workflows, and improve operational effectiveness across CoStar platforms.
- Lead teams in designing, implementing, and governing AI-powered solutions including skills, agents, tools, and workflow automations that enhance both internal productivity and customer-facing products.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements, develop project plan and work schedules for use by the development team.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not for profit, in-person university or college.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 7+ years of relevant development experience.
- 3+ years' experience in modern web and database technologies.
- 3+ years of experience leading Agile Team(s).
- Solid experience with the following technologies
- Experience leading technical teams, working through complex requirements and offering relevant, timely technical solutions.
- Must be able to communicate at a level appropriate to the audience (direct reports, peers and senior management).
- Familiarity with modern AI platforms, large language models (LLMs), agent orchestration frameworks, or AI-assisted development tools.
Nice to have
- Experience with Cloud-Native architecture, preferably within AWS.
- Experience leveraging AI to improve software engineering productivity, operational monitoring, research workflows, and data stewardship.
- Experience implementing AI-assisted data quality solutions including deduplication, enrichment, classification, anomaly detection, and entity matching.
- Experience with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration.

Compensation
- $170,000 - $258,000 Annually
- Base Compensation: $170,000 - $258,000 Annually
