About the role

  • We are hiring an energetic, detail-oriented, and ambitious individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Project Coordinator / Estimator.
  • This hybrid role offers a dynamic introduction to the construction industry, providing exposure to both field-based project coordination and office-based cost estimating.

Responsibilities

  • Support superintendents and project managers on active sites. - Maintain documentation, site records, and daily reporting (photos, logs, cost data). - Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments. - Assist in quality control, safety, and environmental compliance tracking. - Help manage materials procurement and as-built drawing updates. - Participate in site inspections and field operations.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Interpret design drawings and specifications to determine scope.
  • Assist in developing competitive bids using estimating software (e.g., Bid2Win).
  • Support preparation of tender documents and project risk assessments.
  • Contribute to building critical path schedules and milestone planning.
  • Support superintendents and project managers on active sites.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel is required.

  • estimating or scheduling software experience is a plus. - Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and be legally permitted to work in Canada. Ability to travel is required.
