About the role

  • Processing and recording all assigned financial transactions (payables and receivables) in the general ledger, bank reconciliations and preparing tax filings and coordinating and responding to annual audit activities with external auditors.
  • Fiscal Grant Management to include an understanding of all grants that the Club receives, may include budgeting for any potential grants, amending current grants and reconciling completed grants for compliance.
  • Ensure a productive work environment within the finance and accounting function.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for all financial management functions,
  • Maintain all payroll records.
  • Maintain, analyze, and interpret general ledger for all funds;
  • Manage the preparation and analysis of financial reports on a monthly and as needed basis
  • Seek and secure financial support and resources by managing:
  • Lead organizational planning and development of operating and fund account budgets, and

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or business
  • A minimum of three years of progressively responsible work experience managing the
  • accounting functions in a non-profit agency, or equivalent experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software.
  • Thorough knowledge of budgeting and accounting practices, processes and procedures of
  • non-profit organizations.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with Club staff, Board members, volunteers, and other
  • Valid state driver's license.

Compensation

  • Collaborate with the Chief Executive Office and Board of Directors to develop annual
  • review audit schedules and annual report of audit findings.
  • The renewal of Negotiated Federal Indirect Cost Rates on an annual basis (or as required for specific grants)
