About the role
- As a visible representative of the College, Lifeguards ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming aquatic environment for our students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.
- Lifeguards are responsible for the safety and well-being of all patrons using the Kendall indoor pools.
- This includes overseeing open recreation, Fitness Swim programs, and summer conferences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct water chemistry tests (pH/Chlorine), manage equipment inspections, and operate the automatic pool vacuum.
Requirements
- For faculty positions, statements on mentoring, teaching, and research will also be required.
- Maintain 360-degree surveillance of the pool and diving well using the "5-Minute Scan" principle.
