About the role

The Testing Center Technician oversees reception, intake, test administration, security implementation and record-keeping for students and community members taking exams and tests administered at SFCC Testing Center.
The Testing Center Technician does not supervise staff but does contribute to supervision of student employees.

Assists the testing team to maintain and troubleshoot all software on workstations.
Maintains software and workstations.

Partners with Department staff and faculty to help students navigate their testing requirements and processes.
Maintains detailed testing records and oversees the secure storage of all test materials at the Testing Center.

Ability to manage multiple reception proctoring and clerical responsibilities seamlessly.

Knowledge Skills, & Abilities
Skills in test score interpretation and one-to-one communication with students and community members.
Skill in use and trouble-shooting for current testing software.

Minimum starting pay rate: $18.23
