About the role

  • Enters information into the benefit administration system. • Reviews and monitors Evidence of Insurability (EOIs) requests on HR system.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
  • Enters employee information into the HR and Payroll information systems and performs necessary verifications, edits and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Interprets internal policies and maintains competency related to appropriate regulatory laws/guidelines. (FMLA, ADA, ACA, etc.)
  • Utilizes digital platforms to manage incoming requests and maintain task organization.
  • Identifies needs and set goals for own growth and development; meets all mandatory system and departmental requirements.
  • Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization including assisting HR staff with projects as needed.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

  • Runs various reports for Leave of Absence and Benefits related needs.
  • Processes benefit enrollment forms for new employees who are benefit eligible ensuring all forms are accounted for.
  • Enters information into the benefit administration system.
  • Works closely with the Payroll department regarding leave of absences and benefits in determining details related to employee injuries.
  • Completes paperwork for dependent benefit verification requests from the State of Montana and other states.
  • Answers designated Benefits and Leave of Absence phone lines.
  • Provides regular lunch coverage and backup coverage at the HR reception desk, assisting with walk-ins, multi-line phones, and general office support.
