About the role

Gasskins + LeCraw and BHC have joined the Pape-Dawson family!
Pape-Dawson is seeking a Survey Project Manager for their Wichita office.
This position oversees all aspects of land surveying projects, including regulatory compliance, budget management, and quality assurance of deliverables.

Manage project budgets, invoicing, and financial performance.
Perform quality control reviews of drawings, legal descriptions, and other deliverables prepared by the team.
Manage, train, and mentor members of the Survey Department to support their professional development.
Maintain and develop professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Lead and support the resolution of complex survey issues or challenges.

Must be a Licensed Professional Surveyor (LPS) in Kansas and Missouri.
Minimum of 12 years of experience as a licensed surveyor.
Must have experience with Leica and/or Trimble.
Must have experience with and been through a Planning Commission process for projects.
Must be aware of and how to deal with Project Insurance issues.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.
This role requires exceptional leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with teams and clients to ensure project success.
