About the role
- Timmons Group is seeking a full time Construction Materials Testing Project Manager for our Geotechnical and Construction Services Group located in our Richmond, VA office location.
- Direct ongoing communication with the Senior PM/Group Leader is essential.

- Manages traditional materials testing service and special inspections projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Nice to have
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a science or engineering is preferred
- Ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of experience in the construction materials testing field and at least 5 years managing CMT projects
- Ideal candidates will have a professional engineer license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or the ability to receive this licensure within 6 months of hire date
Compensation
- Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $100,000-150,000.
