About the role

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with legal, policy, regulatory, and compliance teams on strategic responses and readiness for emerging laws, regulations, and policies.
- Develop and improve ways of using AI tools to augment work individually and as a team.
Skills
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 7 years of attorney-level experience in private practice and in-house.
- Counseling experience in product, IP, commercial, competition and privacy law.
- Experience working across legal, policy, regulatory, and compliance teams.
- Admitted to the CA bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in California.
- Experience working inside a technology company advising on emerging technology.
- Experience advising senior executives and leadership teams on legal and business risks.
- Experience working with robots, software, open source and AI.
Compensation
- The base salary for this full-time position is between $252,800 - $323,9000 (USD ) + 25% bonus + equity + benefits.
