About the role

  • QUALIFICATIONS: Post-secondary diploma in Medical Office Administration, Health Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario G Class Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel as required.
  • Current vulnerable sector criminal records check required.
  • Ability to speak an Indigenous language is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary diploma in Medical Office Administration, Health Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare, medical, or community health environment.
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, referral processes, and healthcare administration practices.
  • Knowledge of PHIPA, PIPEDA and confidentiality requirements related to health information.

  • The full salary range for this role is $56,400 - $69,405 ONWA conducts annual performance reviews, and employees may be eligible for salary adjustments based on performance outcomes and available funding.

Compensation
