About the role
- Oversee real-time trade capture and ensure accurate booking across front-to-back systems
- Act as a key point of contact for Portfolio Managers, supporting risk monitoring platforms and troubleshooting data or system issues
- Monitor affirmation and matching platforms, ensuring trade economics, risk attributes, and booking details are complete and accurate
Responsibilities
- This role covers the endtoend trade lifecycle and supports a broad range of fixed income products, including cleared and bilateral rates, swaptions, FX products, bonds, repos, futures, and options on futures.
- The successful candidate will partner closely with Portfolio Managers and Trading teams to ensure seamless trade execution, accurate risk representation, and robust operational controls.
- This is a high impact role for a proactive professional who is passionate about markets and keen to leverage technology to enhance controls, reduce manual intervention, and drive automation across middle office processes.
Requirements
- 4-8 years' experience in a financial services environment, preferably buyside, with solid rates exposure (convertible bonds beneficial but not required)
Skills
- Proven ability to process a wide range of fixed income products with direct counterparty interaction and clear desk communication
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end trade lifecycle and associated controls
- P&L analysis and valuations knowledge specific to fixed income products.
- Proficient in Excel and experienced with the Bloomberg Terminal
- Interest in process improvement and automation; Python or coding exposure preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
