About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee safety programs, tool inspections, calibrations, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and a safe work environment.
  • Efficiently issue, track, inspect, and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring proper functionality and safety for students and faculty.
  • Monitor inventory levels, anticipate shortages, maintain records, and report on lost or damaged tools, ensuring availability of materials for class projects.
  • Maintain a tool inspection and safety program to ensure that all tools issued are safe for use.
  • Maintain an inspection and calibration program for all precision measuring devices and other tools requiring calibration.
  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing support for tools, equipment, and materials for class and special project needs.
  • Participate in facility and equipment maintenance activities. Perform and complete other tasks assigned by Supervisor.

  • Required Qualifications
