About the role

  • The Program Manager is proficient in program management, encompassing the development of cohesive plans, adherence to budgets and schedules, and the ability to analyze financial data and communicate effectively with stakeholders, with strong leadership and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of product applications, customer markets, and business strategies, and the capacity to drive new business development and foster team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Track deliverable status and manage corrective actions when deliverables do not meet acceptance criteria.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on project budgets, including labor, material, and subcontractor costs.
  • Monitor actual expenditures against planned budgets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain financial performance.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional matrix resources across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and other supporting disciplines to meet program objectives.
  • Monitor resource utilization and performance, resolve conflicts and competing priorities, and maintain effective working relationships with functional organizations to ensure timely and efficient program execution.
  • Manage product configurations, options, and variants across the product portfolio to balance customer customization needs with production efficiency and sustainability.
  • Develop and execute proposal plans and strategies, including ROM development and competitive bid support.
  • Develop customer relationships and new business within the market/program, fostering long-term partnerships with government program offices and industry partners.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to identify and quantify risks and opportunities and manage risk mitigation and opportunity capture activities.
  • Leads the establishment of and sets integrated WBS-based budget and schedule baselines including management reserve for programs and products.

Nice to have

  • or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.
  • Clearance Requirements: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • We provide premium systems, services, and products for the Department of Defense, government agencies and commercial clients.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is required, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.

  • Strong knowledge of government contracting practices and regulations regarding acquisition.

Compensation

  • There is no 100% remote option While on-site, you will be working at the Colorado Springs GDMS facility Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
  • Actual pay may vary.
  • Combined Salary Range USD $148,000.00 - USD $169,277.00 /Yr.
