About the role
- Overview HealthPro Pediatrics has an exciting opportunity available for a Speech-Language Pathologist in Cortland, NY!
- Join a rewarding Speech-Language Pathologist role supporting preschool-aged children in both home-based and preschool settings, depending on caseload needs.
- Full-time hours ( 35 hours per week ) are available, and part-time candidates will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
- Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

- Make a meaningful impact during the critical early years of development while collaborating with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to support children's communication and developmental success.
Requirements
- Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a
- Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible Certification:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
Skills
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
