About the role
- Reporting Description: The Lab Technician reports to the Quality Manager.
- Level of Responsibility: The Laboratory Technician is responsible for testing and evaluating special samples, preparing samples for analysis, and assisting the Lab Foreman on special projects.
Requirements
- Must have some knowledge of chemistry, math, and other sciences.
- Some experience with laboratory techniques and equipment are desired.
- Should have some experience in processing minerals.
- Must be able to wear required safety equipment.
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- must be capable of doing process evaluation trials in the plants when testing new processes or products.
Nice to have
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- college degree preferred.
