About the role

  • The Allegro software development team is looking for a Software Engineer to join the team.
  • As a member of this team, you'll gain hands-on experience working with enterprise-level software and solving real-world problems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain software systems that incorporate ML/AI models into production environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineers, product engineers) to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Design, evaluate, and improve agent behavior, including prompt engineering, tool orchestration, and feedback/iteration mechanisms
  • Exposure to Electronic Design Automation (EDA), IC design, or PCB/physical design workflows

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills ( C++ required )
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce)
  • Familiarity with optimization problems in placement, routing, timing, or power analysis
  • Experience with performance optimization or systems programming

Compensation

  • Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
  • Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
  • The annual salary range for Massachusetts is $87,500 to $162,500.
