  • Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) System Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integration of propulsion and fuel system changes across airplane systems, developing robust design solutions to support product improvements
  • Maintain Boeing design oversight for supplier‑provided fuel system components; review and approve supplier drawings, engineering change proposals, and configuration updates
  • Engage suppliers to define, plan, and execute qualification testing and manage supplier‑initiated design modifications
  • Provide on‑site factory and delivery support in
  • Manage Boeing Specification Control Document (SCD) requirements, including revisions and new SCD development
  • Provide on‑site factory and delivery support in North Charleston: troubleshoot fuel system issues on the production line, support production holds, perform pre‑delivery inspections, and assist with delivery acceptance
  • Investigate and resolve fleet, production, and supplier issues (Service Requests, Notices of Escape, Non‑Conformances, Engineering Liaison Requests, Change Notices, etc.) to maintain production flow and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate, develop, and publish test plans, procedures, and reports; analyze test, certification, and production data to support timely dispositions
  • Analyze system performance data to support safety, compliance, and airworthiness investigations; create and update system safety analyses and airworthiness limitations for the 787
  • Coordinate across internal partners (Electromagnetic Effects (EME), Reliability Maintainability and Testability (RM&T), Airplane Safety Engineering (ASE), Structures/Stress, Flight Test, Service Engineering, Production, Ground Ops, Regulatory Administration, etc.) to meet project goals and aircraft delivery milestones

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in an engineering discipline
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

  • Level 4: 9+ years of experience working in an engineering discipline application.
  • 3+ years of experience in Propulsion Engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and resolve complex engine installation and integration problems across structural, systems, and certification domains.
  • Experience leading system integration, supplier oversight, and technical decision‑making in aerospace or related industries.
  • Knowledge of airplane safety, certification, and applicable regulations.
  • Experience working Continued Operational Safety Program (COSP) process.
  • Familiar with ENOVIA, CSDT, REDARS, ETAC, IVX, IVT, CATIA (PDM, MatLab, Velocity a plus)
  • Familiar with establishing RCCAs/BPSMs/fault trees/cause maps
