About the role

The primary responsibility of this position is to identify and resolve complex legal issues as a member of the company-wide legal team.
This role will be responsible for assisting with reviewing, assessing, drafting, negotiating, and revising a broad range of contracts.
The position will also work cross-functionally with relevant divisions, marketing managers, agents and other stakeholders to ensure timely routing, approval, and execution of such contracts.

Manage contract tracking and oversee the end-to-end contract workflow across ESM Brand Marketing and Game Seven teams;
Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal and Finance, to streamline contracting workflows;
Proactively follow up with internal teams and external partners on contract status, signatures, and the progress of master agreements and scopes of work;
Leads significant projects, both within the legal department and across a variety of functions; and

Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside counsel, executive and senior management, and business associates;

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school;
Admission to NY State Bar (preferred);
2-4 years of legal experience in a law firm, in-house counsel, or other relevant legal experience.

Ability to work independently, while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams;
Experience in sports, media or entertainment industry law department or at law firm in relevant practice group strongly preferred;
Solid analytic skills, creative problem-solving abilities and a practical business-oriented viewpoint;
Meticulous attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and produce quality work within deadlines;
Outstanding drafting and organizational skills; and
Presentation skills for purposes of, among other things, advising internal clients on risk assessment and mitigation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

$100,000- $120,000 per year.

Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
