SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE As a Leather Sewer at Chrome Hearts, your role is pivotal in the crafting of our high-quality apparel and accessories, ensuring they meet our exacting standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Material Preparation: Methodically organize and sort materials to prepare them for crafting.
Machine Setup: Skillfully set up the sewing machine by changing needles, securing attachments, and ensuring it's in perfect working order.

Regularly monitor machine performance, detect and address malfunctions, and adjust settings as needed to maintain optimal output.
Continuously inspect the finished product to maintain the highest level of craftsmanship.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, strictly adhering to safety protocols.

Display proficiency in sewing and be open to cross-training on other machinery to broaden your skill set.
Must be able to collaborate effectively with team members and possess excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle a physical workload and repeat various manual motions during the shift, involving the use of feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
Adaptability and ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
Regularly sitting and standing for extended periods, with some walking required.

Prior experience working with high-end luxury clothing, especially with an emphasis on leather, is highly preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience in operating single-needle machines in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Basic skills in taking measurements for precise garment assembly.

Responsibility and Accountability: Eagerness to take on responsibilities with a strong sense of personal accountability.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Sitting/standing: Regularly sitting and standing for extended periods, with some walking required.
Communication: Talking and hearing are regular job requirements.
Manual Dexterity: Engaging in various manual tasks that demand a high level of manual dexterity and close visual attention.
Lifting: Ability to carry and lift up to 25 lbs if needed.
The pay range for this role is: 22.00 - 28.00 USD per hour (Hollywood, CA)
