About the role
- Responsible for moving finished goods from manufacturing facility to warehouse and raw materials from warehouse to manufacturing facility.
- Ensure safe transport of all finished goods and raw materials.
- Inspect the trailers to ensure that there is no damage to the trailers and to ensure that the vehicle is properly loaded.
Responsibilities
- Needs to deliver finished goods to Brown Forman per sales order.
- Maintain safe driving record and promptly report all accidents involving driver or company equipment and any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions, or other emergencies.
Requirements
- Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and transportation of materials.
- 3-5 years experience as commercial truck driver.
- Manual Dexterity -- The ability to quickly move hand, hand together with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Information Ordering -- The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
- Extent Flexibility -- The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
- Wrist-Finger Speed -- The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
- Forklift certified --- 1-3 years of forklift experience.
- Must be certified or capable of being certified.
- Multilimb Coordination -- The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down.
- Lifting Requirements -- Ability to lift 30 pounds over head to total height of six feet
Compensation
- Report directly to Shipping/Warehouse Manager for purposes of scheduling, performance evaluation, and compensation assessment
