About the role
- This role will define how insurers leverage AI, data, and workflow transformation to evolve underwriting practices and customer experiences in personal lines auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of next-generation underwriting and policy experience solutions
- Partner with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver differentiated offerings
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrixed environment
- Drive execution via leadership and accountability
- Build relationships with senior leaders at auto insurers
- Lead Voice of Customer efforts to inform strategy and product direction
- Lead Market Strategy & Positioning
- Drive Innovation
- Deliver Execution at Scale
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in personal lines auto insurance
- Leadership experience in underwriting, product development, strategy or innovation
- Deep knowledge of auto underwriting workflows and policy lifecycle
- Experience for achieving successful outcomes in complex, matrixed organizations
- Ability to travel 10-20%
- Experience with AI/ML in underwriting, pricing, or workflow automation
- Familiarity with external data ecosystems (3rd party data and vendors)
- Strong understanding of regulatory dynamics in auto insurance
- Strong operator with a track record of execution and delivery

Compensation
- Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
- $156,700 - $290,900.
