About the role
- Job Description: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing small- to medium-scale healthcare technology projects within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
- The role requires strong project management skills, an in depth understanding of healthcare technology management (HTM), and experience working within the VA enterprise.
- The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present detailed project reports and presentations to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Integrate the use of emerging technologies, including Large Language Model (LLM) applications, to support decision-making, documentation, and process automation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher and certification in project management (e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a hospital or healthcare environment managing medical equipment or HTM programs.
- Experience with leading EHR deployments across multiple health care facilities.
- Understanding of federal regulatory requirements, including those from The Joint Commission (TJC) and applicable ISO standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and technical presentations.
Nice to have
- Proven experience working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including familiarity with VHA systems and operations.
- Experience with a variety of HTM CMMS platforms (e.g., AEMS/MERS, Nuvolo, Maximo).
- Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal public trust clearance.
Skills
- Travel associated with this role will consist of being away for about a week every 2 months*
Compensation
- The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
- $95,000 - $125,000
