About the role

- Background Check Northwestern Medicine conducts a background check that includes criminal history on newly hired team members and, at times, internal transfers.
- Results are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and we follow all local, state, and federal laws, including the Illinois Health Care Worker Background Check Act.
Responsibilities
- Positions patient and performs diagnostic imaging procedure utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Performs electronic quality analysis of the Radiographic image.
- Adheres to research protocols and maintains records for research data.
- Supplies and maintains the exam room in a manner consistent with department standards.
- Collects data to support the measurement and tracking of quality management.
- AHA BLS Certification(Basic Life Support).
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiography program where competencies in evaluating and caring for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients is required.
- Provides patient data with optimum quality and productivity to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Associates Degree in Applied Science, Radiography or Certificate of Completion, Radiography Program (hospital sponsored).
- Experience with clinical research.

- Sign-on Bonus Eligibility (if sign-on bonus offered for position): Internal employees and rehires who left Northwestern Medicine within 1 year are not eligible for the sign on bonus.
- Completes and maintains medical record of the patient.
- Assist in the education of house staff, student technologists and ancillary personnel as it relates to diagnostic imaging.
- Three to five years of experience in Radiography at a health care institution.
