About the role

  • Our Dining Division is a true restaurateur.
  • We are passionate about connecting with each of our guests on multiple levels.
  • The Busser is responsible for quietly resetting and clearing all tables in a speedy professional and effective manner as guests leave the restaurant, as well as supporting other team members while giving exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with guests, business partners, and peers.
  • Maintain a professional company image by adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip resistant shoes.
  • Support Food Runners, Hosts, Servers, Bartenders, and Expeditors when needed.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. Use correct cleaning chemicals, for designated items, and company provided personal protective equipment according to OSHA regulations.
  • Our team is comprised of individuals who have a passion to create memorable experiences and who are intentional in every guest interaction and every meal served.
  • Tastes on the Fly upholds the integrity of each of our brand partners, replicating down to the slightest details, what has made them so admired in their own community.

Requirements

  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively, in English.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.
  • Must have a passion for the guest!

Nice to have

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred.
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
