Responsibilities
- Provides support and training to the ADR operators and helps to develop & implement auditing programs to ensure proper operation of the equipment as the in-house expert on operating our ADR, Sorter, X-ray etc. systems,
- Maintains these systems through routine calibration, programming, minor Preventative Maintenance tasks, etc. and assist the mechanics and PC&E personnel in troubleshooting and light maintenance of the system including during down seasons.
- Leads Continuous Improvement efforts surrounding these systems as the in-house expert and system owner.
- Builds and maintains good working relationships with the corporate technicians and become their primary plant contact.
- Possesses basic computer skills needed to perform the role (email, Microsoft Suite, etc.).
- Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.

Requirements

- Must be able to communicate, comprehend, and follow instructions in English (both written and oral).
- In-depth knowledge of electronics, mechanics and computers, required.
- Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily.
Nice to have
- Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required.
- If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.

Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos in English.
- Ability to write accurate information in English.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

- Physical Environment/Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
- Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature.
- Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.
- Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
- May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products.

- This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables.
- Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's work location, job duties, experience and expertise.
- A reasonable hourly estimate for this role is listed below.
- Pay Rate or Range: $32.21
