About the role
- Conduct gap analyses, workflow assessments, and process mapping across screening product areas including criminal, verifications, civil, medical, MVR, and drug screening
- Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to align on scope and intent
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure shared understanding
Responsibilities
- Maintain a well-groomed, prioritized product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Support UAT by developing test scenarios, coordinating with QA, and managing stakeholder sign-off
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements across Cisive's background screening workflows
- 2+ years acting as a Scrum Master or agile lead
- Ability to manage competing priorities across dual roles
Requirements
- 5+ years of business analyst experience
- Strong proficiency with Jira and agile tooling
- Experience writing user stories and BRDs
Nice to have
- CSM, CSPO, or equivalent Agile certification
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification
- Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive industries (FCRA, background screening, or HR-tech (preferred)
- Familiarity with process documentation tools (e.g., Confluence)
- Background in SaaS or product-led organizations
- Experience with Claude
- Critical thinking
- Stakeholder management
