About the role

Primary responsibility is for servicing/repairing all JBT Marel, A&B sold equipment at customer sites.
This is an advanced welding level position to ensure quality welding, fabrication/fitting and finishing with proper weld preparation, manufacturing of components, fit-up of assemblies, and finishing components.
Be available to respond to urgent customer service/repair needs.

This is a service-oriented position. The successful candidate must genuinely enjoy working with people, have a pleasant disposition and maintain appropriate business appearance/ attire and be willing to advance the goals of the Company.
JBT Marel uses technology‑assisted tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to support the review of applications.

When required, grinds and polishes steel according to customer requirements as well as quality standards.
Travels to customer sites as need (must have valid driver's license).
A vocational degree in welding or fabrication is preferred along with at least 5 years of welding/fabricating experience.
GTAW-2 welding certification is required. OSHA-10 certification is required along with a 3 point First Aid (Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED) training.
A strong mechanical aptitude with a high degree for attention to detail and quality is a must.
Must be willing to gain proficiency in the items above.
