About the role

Establish CAS performance measures and methods to monitor and report contractor performance.
Establish an annual integrated oversight schedule of audits and assessments to be performed based on input from SMEs.
Review completed audits and assessment to ensure compliance with implementing procedures.

(Other duties may be assigned.) Develop and implement a Quality Assurance Plan in accordance with DOE O 414.
Develop and implement the Software Quality Assurance Program in accordance with DOE O 414.
Develop, implement, and maintain the ISSC Contractor Assurance System Plan in accordance with DOE O 226.
Develop and submit the quarterly CAS trend report to management and DOE.
Ensure lead auditors and assessors are qualified to perform assignments.
Perform audits and assessments as assigned and in accordance with implementing procedure.
Maintain a Qualified Suppliers List in accordance with implementing procedure.
Determine the need to conduct fact findings and causal analyses and lead or assign lead to conduct these processes.

Previous U.S. Department of Energy QA experience highly preferred Experience with NQA-1 quality standard strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in the field of engineering, quality or comparable field of study.
8+ years directly applicable experience 2+ years management experience Certification and experience in auditing to a recognized quality standard in ISO 9001 preferred Training and experience performing causal analyses.
Previous U.S. Department of Energy QA experience highly preferred
