About the role
- Legend is hiring a Backend Software Developer for Covers, reporting directly to our Engineering Manager.
- Our engineering team is focused on delivering scalable, high-performance products that serve millions of sports fans with real-time data, insights, and engaging digital experiences.
- You'll play a hands-on role in designing and evolving backend architecture, writing clean and maintainable code, and contributing to technical decisions that shape the future of our platform.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop more junior developers so we can build the best team!
- Design, develop and execute innovative software solutions to address business needs
- Create modifications for existing software to upgrade performance
- Aid in planning, analysis, and design of technical solutions in collaboration with our parent company
- Maintain thorough documentation of systems and applications
- Proven ability to build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience as a Developer with strong C# / ASP.NET MVC expertise
- Solid experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, and modern.NET practices
