About the role

  • J Street is seeking undergraduate students to participate in its 2026 Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Fellowship Program.
  • J Street is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans working for the future of Israel as the democratic homeland of the Jewish people.
  • The organization believes that preserving Israel's Jewish and democratic character depends on achieving a two-state solution, resulting in a Palestinian state living alongside Israel in peace and security.

Responsibilities

  • (1) Advocating and demonstrating support for pro-Israel, pro-peace policies in Congress, the media and the Jewish community; (2) Endorsing and raising money for federal candidates who share J Street's agenda; and (3) Educating the public and raising awareness of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the two-state solution.
  • Organize, plan, and budget nonpartisan voter registration drives/events on your campus
  • Fellows will receive hands-on support and training from J Street U staff as they work to foster voter registration and participation on their college campuses.
  • J Street will offer training, and programmatic support.
  • Successful applicants will coordinate GOTV events and drives on their campus, organize their classmates to register to vote and follow through on voting plans.

  • The fellowship is a part-time, 10 hour per week time commitment.
  • Fellows will be paid $19 per hour.
  • J Street can coordinate with your university if it offers course credit for the fellowship.
