About the role
- This is an excellent opportunity for experienced DC power professionals who have worked with battery systems, rectifiers, inverters, and -48V DC power plants in telecom or critical power environments.
- Install, upgrade, and commission DC power systems and equipment.
- Install and terminate DC power cabling according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and commission DC power systems that support mission-critical facilities, including telecommunications networks, data centers, and utility infrastructure.
- Perform battery installations, battery replacements, and preventive maintenance.
- Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and system verification prior to commissioning.
- Maintain accurate documentation, job reports, and material usage.
Requirements
- Travel to customer sites throughout the Northeast as required.
- 5+ years of experience installing or maintaining DC power systems or telecom power infrastructure.
Compensation
- $30k-$45k
