Responsibilities

  • Conveys order information politely and efficiently to support personnel and ensures all order information is entered accurately and within 48 hours.
  • Maintains and demonstrates a current knowledge of Astound Broadband products, programming and promotional offers.

Requirements

  • Ability to sell to C level executives within an organization
  • Ability to work within Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis (sales materials).
  • Projects a professional business manner and operates with a high degree of integrity.
  • Demonstrated success in telecommunications and internet sales to end-user customers, including large business customers and government accounts using relationship management and system sales concepts
  • 1 - 2 years of practical, hands-on experience canvassing or cold-calling small and medium sized business customers strongly preferable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as this position is responsible for ensuring potential customers understand the features and benefits of all Astound Broadband products and the pricing and promotional offers available.
  • Excellent detail orientation and follow through skills.
  • Strong discretionary skills, as this position will have access to and work with information of a confidential nature.
  • Frequent to continuous driving, walking, bending and reaching.
  • Occasional exposure to inclement weather.
  • Occasional to frequent exposure to uneven surfaces, hills, stairs, heights
  • Occasional use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.
  • Frequent to extensive local travel.

Nice to have

  • 2-5 years prior experience managing business accounts in either a sales or customer service environment preferred.

Compensation

  • The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job.
  • Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
  • It is specific to California and may not be applicable to other locations.
  • The base salary for this position ranges from $63,500 - $71,000 (for qualifying Account Executive candidates) to $78,300 - $87,000 annually (for qualifying Enterprise Account Executive candidates) plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable.
  • Commissions at plan: Targeted commissions at full attainment range from $21,600 (Account Executive) to $32,400 (Enterprise Account Executive).
  • Our sales total compensation offers the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets by offering uncapped commission structure.
  • Starting at 80 hours per year, and increases based on tenure with the organization
