- If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Control Technician at our Kingston office!
Responsibilities
- Perform multiple traffic control set-ups as per MTO Book 7 while adhering to traffic plan requirements to ensure the safety of all stakeholders impacted at the worksite (crew members, motorists, pedestrians, etc.).
Requirements
- Interpret traffic management plans to determine correct placement of required signage, barrels, and other channeling devices
- Stop traffic whenever required by the progress of work or to keep traffic moving at reduced speeds to avoid tie-ups and delays.
- Valid G class driver's license and a clean driver's abstract ( Required )
- Must be available to work Monday - Friday between 6am - 6pm with the potential to work some evenings and weekends ( Required )
- Have strong verbal and written English communication skills ( Required )
- You will be required to provide your own CSA Grade 1 (green label) work boots with a minimum 6 inch cuff and electrical shock resistance (white label with omega symbol)
