About the role

  • Our work is integral to The Walt Disney Company, bringing Disney-branded characters and stories to families' homes across the globe.
  • They need to be familiar with technology used in the creation and distribution of digital TV, including the legacy of SD and HD resolutions, aspect ratios and delivery codecs.
  • The Post Supervisor should have excellent communication skills, be organized and able to work with a team under strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Create post-production schedule and ensure that the scheduling of the post process are followed and alert show Producers and post executives of any problems that may cause the production to miss delivery/air dates.
  • Will create and maintain Post Schedules.
  • Lead Post Kick-Off Meetings with all needed parties.
  • The Post Supervisor will create the agenda and run their weekly post check-ins with each of their crews working closely with the producer that all necessary items are being discussed.
  • Crew Setup & Support.

Requirements

  • Ability to work closely with Show Runners/Creators/Producers, Network Executives, in addition to internal and external post house facilities to ensure necessary approvals occur prior to final delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
  • PIX - Set up editorial on PIX following internal approved workflow, and make sure content is updated on the platform as needed in the required folders working with post coordinator and production.

Compensation

  • The hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $59,600.00 to $79,800.00 per year.
