Responsibilities
- Perform structural engineering analysis, design, and calculations for vertical building structures under the direct supervision of a senior engineer.
- Analysis and design of structural steel, concrete, wood, and masonry framing systems for vertical building structures.
- Utilization of the latest structural engineering analysis and design software.
- Utilization of Autodesk Revit Structure building information modeling (BIM) software.
- Assist in the preparation of design documentation including BIM models, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Conduct research on materials, products, building codes, systems, and sustainable design practices to inform project decisions.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including architecture, sustainability, construction, and other consultants, to support the integrated delivery of projects.
- Perform construction phase activities including submittal review and construction site observations.
- Adapts to various roles within a project and performs at a high level. Proactively accepts tasks beyond the primary scope and adjusts to changing priorities to ensure project success, team collaboration, and firm excellence.
- 0-5 years of full-time structural engineering experience in an engineering firm, with exposure to analysis, design, and documentation for vertical building projects utilizing structural steel, reinforced concrete and masonry framing systems.

- The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of project development.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from ABET accredited structural engineering program.
- Master of Science (MS) degree from ABET accredited structural engineering program a plus.
- Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam and EIT Certification a plus.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or Structural Engineer (S.E.) license a plus.
- Licensing and Certification: Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam and EIT Certification a plus.
Compensation
- $70,000 - $105,000. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
