  • Old Dominion Freight Line is currently recruiting for a Dock Worker Clerk.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support and assistance to the Dock Supervisor to assist with high levels of productivity and smooth operations
  • Prepare and maintain daily paperwork to move freight including DOT files to ensure confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare a variety of documents and reports using AS400 and SAP
  • Assists with coordinating freight, information and people in a systematic way to optimize efficiency while minimizing duplication of effort

  • A Dock Worker Clerk will provide clerical support to the Dock Supervisor to assist in operating a productive shift.

Requirements

  • 1 year of office and/or operations experience, preferably in the transportation industry
  • Experience in using handheld computers/scanners
  • Proficiency with AS400, SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
