About the role
- Working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager and/or Front of House Manager, this position will be responsible for delivering and overseeing service excellence to our Patrons and Guests during performances and events.
- They will supervise Front of House and Bars/Concessions during performances and oversee events in cooperation with the Facility Management and Event Planning departments.
- This is an in-person position in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coach, train, and support all Patron Services colleagues throughout their shifts, including staff briefings
- Collaborate with operational leadership within the Four Seasons Centre to ensure and fortify building readiness and event standards
- Review and prepare Performance planning documents and supervise both the FOH and F&B team members appropriately (up to 35 people daily).
- Ability to manage high-stress situations and interact with others calmly and effectively

Requirements
- Evening and weekend work required based on operational needs
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift materials or equipment as required

- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in front of house, food & beverage service, hospitality, and/or events-related roles.
Skills
- Successful candidates will need to demonstrate:
- Positive and courteous interactions with all guests, clients, and colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail, time-management skills combined with the ability to problem solve and re-prioritize as needed.
- Cash handling experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etcetera) as well as point of sale software.
- Required to stand/walk for extended periods of time, and able to lift 20 pounds without difficulty
- Comfortable with heights, elevators, and stairs.
- Comfort using a radio.
- Current Smart Serve and Safe Food Handler certifications.
Compensation
- The hourly rate of pay for this position is $24.28 - $25.47/hour, dependent on the daily role performed, with some shifts for private/special events offering a $5.00/hour shift premium.
