About the role
- Research activities on users, trends, materials, and processes for present/future product development
- Participate in research through field visits, trend analysis, and brainstorming sessions to identify unmet user needs
- Foster a creative mindset to consistently generate new and inventive ideas
Responsibilities
- Employ a methodical, process-driven approach to design projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally to conceptualize, visualize, and create new products
- Create visual and functional prototypes to rapidly test design ideas
- Specify design intent for manufacturing by creating detailed specifications for fit, finishes, color, and graphics
- Maintain a confident and personable attitude for effective communication with clients and team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in industrial design
- 0-2 years of experience
