About the role

FMS Aerospace is currently seeking a full-time Electrical Engineering Technician for our Huntsville office location.
This position requires someone interested in avionics and electrical systems for various aircraft.

Communicate, discuss, and listen to design challenges with management and teammates, etc.
The candidate shall be expected to display keen attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and support others in the shop throughout the company, both technically and as teammates.

Experience soldering and/or hand crimping
Familiarity with analog and digital electronics
Familiar with using a digital multimeter
Interest in aviation airframe modifications is recommended
A&P certification or relevant certifications are a plus
DoD or Military background is a plus

FMS is located in Huntsville, AL within minutes of the cultural center of downtown Huntsville.

Provide offsite & onsite assistance and installation of electrical systems
Mentored by avionics and electrical engineering technicians and junior level electrical engineers within the company
2-4 years' experience in avionics and/or electrical wiring systems
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
IPC-620 certification is a must
Experience reading electrical drawings
Experience in a production/manufacturing setting
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work proficiently with remotely located employees as well as in a team environment
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Must be U.S. citizen
