About the role
- Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a highly skilled Associate in the Private Wealth Services Practice of our San Diego office.
- GT is consistently among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100; the associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from variety of industries across the country.
- Exceptional mid-level candidates with strong credentials and demonstrated leadership ability will also be considered.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and able to supervise and mentor junior associates, while independently managing complex matters.
- Ability to conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis involving multijurisdictional and occasionally cross-border estate planning considerations.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a fast-paced law firm setting
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior attorneys.
- Strong research, drafting, and verbal communication skills
- LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning (preferred but not required)

Compensation
- $249,000 to $325,000 per year
- Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
