- Meetings and Events Planner (Contract) The Meetings & Events Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of internal and external events.
- The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to work on high-visibility events for Bayer CropScience within an inclusive and diverse team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of internal meetings, and small customer events
- Develop event strategies aligned with business goals and brand positioning
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership teams
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and event communication plans
- Manage vendors (AV, production, catering, etc.) and ensure quality delivery
- Support live event production including show flow and execution
- Develop and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses, reconcile budgets, and ensure financial compliance
- Develop contingency plans and partner with security teams as needed
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- We use AI tools to support our recruitment process, including helping us organize applications and identify early matches based on role criteria.
Requirements
- University degree or diploma in Event Management, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years experience in event planning or meeting management
- A valid passport is required (for potential U.S. travel)
- Experience managing large-scale national or international events
- Knowledge of corporate event compliance and procurement processes
- Familiarity with brand and marketing activation strategies
- Experience with Canva
Compensation
- The base salary range for this role is between $66,560 and $99,840.
