About the role
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HAZMAT Chemical and Gas Professional to join our semiconductor manufacturing team.
- This role is responsible for the safe and compliant management, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials and gases.
- This position plays a critical role in leading logistics and safety initiatives, managing material vendor performance, and ensuring operational excellence through efficient processes, detailed reporting, and cross-functional team engagement.
Responsibilities
- Support raw material and hazardous materials management in compliance with DOT, EH&S, and site SOP requirements.
- Coordinate specialized raw material shipments and monitor delivery through receipt to maintain target inventory levels and support continuous fab operations.
- Respond quickly to raw material supply disruptions, serving as a liaison between Procurement, suppliers/logistics partners, and end users to minimize operational impact.
- Lead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives to identify process gaps, streamline systems and workflows, and execute improvements within defined timelines.
Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to access such information or eligible for government authorization.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Logistics, or a related field.
- Military service and education in similar field may substitute for education and work experience requirements.
- Associate's or college degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hazardous materials management in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
- DOT, IATA, IMDG Hazmat shipping certification a plus.

Compensation
- The current base salary range for this role is between $84,000 - $135,000.
- Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
