About the role
- This role requires a deep understanding of Fleet data center power topology, including breakers, PDUs, UPS systems, generators, busways, tap boxes, R-boxes, and whips, and how these elements behave across normal, maintenance, and failure scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Employees may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the organization's ongoing needs.
- Anticipate risks, identify vulnerabilities in the electrical topology, and proactively implement mechanisms to prevent and minimize disruptions and safeguard safety, security, availability, and scale
- Understand how local design decisions (e.g., a tap box or R-box configuration) impact the behavior of the entire power lineup and overall uptime
- Use data, simulation, and empirical evidence to drive decisions; evaluate cost, risk, and performance tradeoffs for alternative designs or configurations
- Build strong working relationships with capacity planners, site operations, facilities engineers, vendors, and other partners to drive aligned, high-quality outcomes
Requirements
- Operate with a high degree of integrity and safety-consciousness in all engineering decisions, especially when affecting live critical environments

Compensation
