About the role
- Position Overview The Infusion Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating chemo/infusion treatments to ensure patients are scheduled accurately and efficiently.
- This role is vital in improving patient access by balancing patient load and optimizing resource utilization.
- Work is performed under the general direction of the Site Manager.
Responsibilities
- manage chemo scrubbing reports.
- Manage phone and email communication related to scheduling.
- Maintain scheduling calendars and reschedule appointments promptly.
- Maintain professional conduct, attendance, and compliance with clinic safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Verify schedule accuracy; manage chemo scrubbing reports.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a clinical environment.
- Education & Experience
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
- Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational and follow-up capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Effective problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, email, and related applications.
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to build strong internal relationships.
- Willingness to travel to satellite offices as needed.
Nice to have
- Six months of related experience and/or training preferred.
