About the role
- Process patient payments, set up payment arrangements and provide customer/patient education when necessary.
- Position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others.

Responsibilities
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel) and other document imaging systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to type, spell, write or print legibly with accurate data entry skills and use computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to type, spell, write or print legibly with accurate data entry skills.
- Knowledge of Epic Systems and/or OnBase.
- 3 years of experience working with patient health and/or financial records.
- Preferred:
- Associate degree with 3 years of experience working with patient health and/or financial records.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel) and other document imaging systems. Knowledge of Epic Systems and/or OnBase.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of professional and hospital billing and follow-up preferred.
