About the role
- A Main Line automotive technician is an expert in automotive repair.
- Job duties include diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing vehicles; overseeing and signing off on repairs completed by other mechanics; and training new technicians.
- Career qualifications for a Main Line automotive technician include certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair work efficiently, adhering to dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- A qualified Main Line Technician will have experience in using technology and tools to perform auto service as quickly and effectively as possible.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- You have the keen ability to diagnose and identify required repairs in an efficient and timely manner
- You are a reliable individual with a proven work ethic
- You are a team player who is process-oriented
Compensation
- Competitive pay with the opportunity to earn $100,000 + annually
